Laurel Van Eperen 

Email                                                               My name is Laure Van Eperen. I have been a parish member and resident of Wrightstown for 21 years. My husband Bernie and I have three children. Rachel (21), Matthew (17), and Daniel (12). I have been a teacher at St Clare School since 2014. I have a musical background in percussion and I have been a part of the Belles choir in Greenleaf for 13 years. In my free time I love to spend time at our family cabin in Lakewood. I have an interest in photography, and I spend time attending the extracurricular events of my children. My family lives in Wrightstown with our dog Nitshcke, and our cats who are a brother-sister duo, Pikachu and Charlie.

Classroom Blog                                                 My name is Abby Linwood and I am the 4K teacher here at St. Clare. I graduated from UW-Stout with a degree in Early Childhood Education (birth-3rd grade). This is my 7th year of teaching this age and my 4th year at St. Clare. I love teaching 4K because I get the chance to really lay the foundation for their education - so awesome!

Mary Smits
My name is Mary Smits and I am the kindergarten teacher at St. Clare School. This is my 31st year teaching. I taught at St. Paul School for 20 years and this is my 6th year at St. Clare. I have taught a variety of grade levels, with the majority of my time spent at the kindergarten level.

Jordan Franken

Hello! My name is Jordan Franken and I teach first grade. This is my fourth year teaching, all of which have been at St. Clare. I grew up in De Pere and then attended the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. St. Clare has been such a special place for me that my fiance and I will be getting married here in the summer of 2017! In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, watching the Packers, practicing yoga, and playing volleyball.

Email                                                               My name is Cathy DeGroot. This is my 27th year in education. I taught grades 3 and 4 at St. Mary's - Greenleaf for 19 years and have been at St. Clare since the merge in 2009.   I currently teach grades 2 and 3.

Email                                                                 I graduated from Concordia University with a degree in Elementary Education. This is my 4th year at St. Clare, and I love it here! Previously, I worked at St. Mary's in Menasha, and was a substitute for some of the Catholic schools in Green Bay.

Amy Bohman

Email                                                               My name is Amy Bohman. I teach 6-8 grade language arts and have the 6th graders in homeroom. This year marks my tenth year teaching and my second year at St. Clare! I graduated from UW-Eau Claire and completed coursework for my reading teacher certification through Viterbo University. I have a passion for reading and sharing books with others.

Email                                                            Hello! My name is Allyson Guzan and this is my second year at St. Clare Catholic School. I teach 6th, 7th, and 8th grade life science, Earth science, world history, and American history. I grew up near Milwaukee in a small town called Richfield, WI. I went to St. Norbert College in De Pere and graduated in 2014. I married Mr. Guzan in April 2015 and enjoy hiking and biking with him whenever possible. I love the season fall because of the colors and temperature. My favorite color is green. I am thrilled to be starting another year at St. Clare and I am excited to see where this year goes!

I hold a BSE with a mathematics major for Grade 6-12 from UW-Oshkosh. I hold Advanced Religious Certification from the Diocese of Green Bay. I love teaching both math and religion. Both have elements of the infinite, and both are beautiful.

Email                                                           am privileged to have gained a Catholic education from preschool through college and am honored to be teaching art to students in kindergarten through 8th grade at St. Clare. I am a graduate of Cardinal Stritch University where I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. I started teaching in 2015 and enjoy sharing my artistic passion and talent with students to help them cultivate their own artistic skills.
